>Help table for calculation of the special situation module!<

With the aim of better controlling and mapping the allocation of Covid19 patients in German clinics and hospitals, the Berlin Senate Administration for Health, Care and Equality has developed a special situation module for daily reporting to IVENA eHealth - Interdisciplinary Proof of Care.

This special situation module is used to record free capacities or bed occupancy by patients with COVID-19 infections. It is intended to cover the information needs between hospitals and control centres among themselves, but also between crisis teams.

In order to help the hospitals and doctors in these already difficult times, we ,from app@work, have created an Excel file to make the calculation of occupied and free beds in the special situation module easier and faster.

You can download the table under the following link Hilfskalkulation-Sonderlage-Modul.

The instructions for use can be found in the table.

We wish you all the best, stamina, of course health and further success!

Hospital Tabea Hamburg: From pilot to group

The hospital Tabea in Hamburg, which belongs to the Artemed clinic group, has been using Sandman.MD successfully for more than half a year now.

In addition to the time savings for the doctors and the significantly higher documentation quality, the evaluation possibilities from the anesthesia data are one of the main advantages for the clinic. For example, the previously time-consuming work of providing the data for the core data set is now taken over by the Sandman.MD system and delivered at the push of a button.

After Sandman.MD has been implemented within four weeks at the end of 2017, it will now be rolled out successively in the group after a successful pilot deployment.

Combining treatments

In addition to copying premedication data from legacy treatments or cases to a current treatment, it is now also possible to transfer premedication data completely and delete the old treatment.

This is particularly useful for cases where a patient has been assigned an outpatient case number for premedication and a new case number for an inpatient surgery. The two cases that actually belong to a treatment can now be transferred to one case.
